Tack, feed, trailers' worth of gear and the things that shouldn't live in a barn aisle. Set the box where you can get a truck to it year-round, not just in August — the clay out here turns after a wet week and a bogged delivery truck is an expensive afternoon.
If you're mid-build off 1488 or 1774, a container gives you a lockable dry spot for materials and tools before the structure is closed in. Plenty of people keep it afterward as permanent storage, which is why we'd steer you toward cargo worthy rather than the cheapest as-is box — you'll be looking at it for years.
Room is not usually the problem here. Access is. A long gravel drive with a tight gate or a soft low spot halfway down is the thing that stops a tilt-bed, so walk the route before you order and tell us what's on it.
