Kingwood is master-planned and deed-restricted throughout, with the Kingwood Service Association over the top of individual village associations. A steel container parked on a residential lot is very likely a violation. We could sell you one anyway and it would be your problem three weeks later — we’d rather lose the sale. Read your village covenants first. If they permit it, we’ll deliver happily.
Commercial parcels along Northpark and toward 59. Contractors staging a renovation or a rebuild, where a container is temporary and the property owner has signed off. And people storing off-site after flooding — the 2017 and 2019 events sent a lot of Kingwood households looking for dry, lockable, elevated square footage that isn’t in a garage that has flooded before.
Kingwood is called the Livable Forest for a reason, and that canopy is lower than it looks standing under it. Sixteen feet of overhead clearance is the number, and the tilt-bed needs it for the whole approach, not just the drop spot. Between mature pines, narrow cul-de-sacs and utility drops, overhead is what stops deliveries here far more often than ground space.
