What we've learned delivering here.
If you run a trade business off a leased yard near 59, IAH or 1960, a container is the cheapest secure square footage you will ever buy — no lease escalation, no landlord, and it leaves with you. Confirm with your landlord that it is allowed on the parcel before you order; most are fine with it, but the ones that aren’t are firm about it.
Atascocita and the newer subdivisions off 1960 are heavily deed-restricted and largely off the table for a residential container. We would rather say that plainly than sell you a box you get told to remove. If you’re on acreage east toward Huffman, that’s a different and much easier conversation.
Parts of Humble sit low and drain slowly. Set a container on a firm pad, not on soft ground that holds water — corner castings sink unevenly and a door that swung true in October will bind by spring. Gravel or a few patio blocks under the corners costs almost nothing and prevents the most common regret we hear about.
